Quay History
Quay was established in 1995 to provide a professional and cost effective accounting and tax service for professionals operating in business with a specific need for assistance with the continually evolving burden of compliance and administration of their business.
Originally run from the quay side near Poole Harbour, Quay Accounting now operates from modern open plan offices located mid way between
Bournemouth and Poole in Dorset. Having always served clients across the UK, Quay re-affirmed this position by also opening an office
in Manchester at the beginning of 2007.
We have the same team organisation in Manchester as we do in Poole. This means that you benefit from using a nationwide accountant that has a consistent approach to handling our clients’ affairs regardless of which office you choose to deal with.
Throughout its development Quay has maintained the primary objective of providing a dedicated and resourceful service for its clients, and their business interests.
Quay is regulated by the two most highly regarded UK accountancy bodies, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW)
and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
In 2003 Quay was awarded and retains the ACCA Quality mark, one of the first accountancy firms in the UK to attain this prestigious award.
